A Monmouth University poll taken between June 9 and 14 shows Biden’s approval rating now stands at 48 percent against 43 percent disapproval - a decline of six points since April. However, Biden’s approval among Republican voters has risen from 11 percent to 19 percent over the same period, bucking a trend that has seen fewer Democrats and independents saying they approve of the job he’s doing. The poll released on Friday showed that Biden’s approval among Democrats had fallen to 86 percent from a high of 95 percent in a Monmouth University poll conducted between April 8 and 12....

Falwell resigned from the evangelical Christian university on August 25 in the wake of a sex scandal. Despite leaving the university, he has continued to contact members of staff as they work, according to a report published Friday by The News & Advance. The paper reports that a letter from David Corry, Liberty’s general counsel, urges employees to refrain from communicating with Falwell to avoid making the impression that he is still involved in university business....

Team owner/general manager Jerry Jones told reporters after the game that free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is still very much in play for Dallas. When asked by Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram if the Cowboys had moved on from Beckham, Jones replied, “Not at all.
