It showed that Löw has trust on his bench players to deliver when called into action. And the depth in talent that Germany currently has, many around the world will have seen little of André Schürrle and Marco Reus except if they follow the German Bundesliga closely.
If a young talent to impress at Euro2012 from Germany was named before the tournament, then it always was about Borussia Dortmund teenager Mario Götze. But Germany these days has numerous youngsters in the team who can deliver when needed. Not only the first eleven are strong, but in theory all 23 players can spring into action when needed.
Especially, Marco Reus showed last night what a talent he is as Reus has done all season at Borussia Mönchengladbach, which has earned him a dream transfer to his home town club Borussia Dortmund for over 17 Million Euros.
One can only hope that more will be seen from the highly talented German team at Euro2012.
