Immediately after Perry scored and put the Ducks up 2-1 in the second period, Byfuglien sucker-punched the unsuspecting Perry and sent him head-first onto the ice. Byfuglien was only assessed a minor for roughing.

Byfuglien channeled his inner Marshawn Lynch by repeating the phrase, “As long as we stick together as a team we’ll be all right,” in response to reporters Tuesday.

Byfuglien, 30, was previously suspended four games on April 2 for cross-checking Rangers forward J.T. Miller in the back of the head two days earlier. He compiled 18 goals and 27 assists while averaging 22:41 of ice time during the regular season.

Winnipeg will host Anaheim for Game 4 on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET. The Ducks took a 3-0 lead in the series with a 5-4 overtime win Monday.
