It all started with Bountygate. When Shockey was on the Saints and the details of their incentive-based program got out, Sapp pointed the blame at the tight end. The Hall of Fame defensive tackle said his “source” alerted him it was Shockey who let the cat out of the bag.

“My source that was close to the situation informed me that (name omitted) is the one that was the snitch initially,” Sapp told NBC Sports back in 2012. “I trust my source unequivocally.”
Source. Keep that word in mind. Shockey was upset and even called out Sapp, who went by “QBKILLA” at the time, on Twitter.
Now the former tight end has a bit of a smirk on his face in the wake of Sapp’s recent arrest.
The capitalization of the word “source,” the same word Sapp used in 2012, speaks volumes.
